Cassi's unfortunate accident

Cassi was sitting on a car after school and the driver started the car and then stopped suddenly. Of course, Cassi went flying. (centrifugal force, if I remember right) Some bruises and scrapes and a head gash. Cassi is lucky that they do not shave heads any more. They STAPLE them back together. (We could have just saved a lot of money if we could have checked out Office Depot first!

Church History Tour

Garth and I had a great experience on a Church History Tour. We were able to see so many sites and hear so many facts that most tours do not do. It was tremendous. We did not see Cali though. My only saddness. But that will be okay for now.

We first went to Niagra Falls in Canada, then started the trek down. The pictures will be of Sacred Grove, Hill Cumorah and other historical sites.

Two new students

This past week, we had two great Harvard bound grandkids start kindergarten. They love their teachers and are making new friends every day. We know they will be the smartest kids in the class (also the cutest)! We are so proud of you, Elle and Max.

I was going out to take a picture of my garden to send to you guys. Lexi, I thought you would like to see my flowers, and Becky, just know that I always will plant green peppers, just in case you come along. But as I was returning in the house, I almost stepped on a SNAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I screamed at Garth to come and get it. I told him to not let it live another minute. But Dad decided that Cutler would just love it. So he caught it in a bucket and called Cutler. He is hurrying right over to get it. (Just as long as it is not on MY YARD!!!!!!!!)

Josh Groban!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonder of wonder, miracles of miracles. We got tickets to Josh Groban, Garth, Cassi and I. We had cheap tickets, the $55 kind, and Garth said we were in the nose bleed section. We really were in the very top (last) row. But it was amazing even at that distance. I would recommend it to anyone, ever. (Maybe save up for better seats though!)

We had a ward luau with dancers just like at Lexi's wedding. During the evening, they asked the YW to come up and make fruit salad. Since I was the only YW leader there, I had to go up too. Mango was hips to right, papaya was hips to left, watermelon was hips to back (butt), and coconut was hips to front. Then we were told to make fruit salad. I felt REALLY, REALLY dumb doing the watermelon, coconut move. No adult should ever have to do that in public!
